Hey friends! Welcome back, first thing I wanna say is that I just made my very first movie and I personally think I deserve an Oscar. I used CapCut and Screencastify for this project, so let's go over some tips, tricks, and warnings for the app!

If you're not the reading kind, here's another movie I made outlining everything I'll be writing about today as far as CapCut goes, but I will give you a written rundown below as well.

So in the shortest way possible, here's what I learned about Capcut:

Here's the positives first:

1. It says it's paid, but if you use it like I did, it's totally free

I personally didn't use any fun effects or anything for my movie, so it's not a huge surprise, but it did the job, and honestly it was wayyy easier than iMovie to figure out, so for the price of nothing? Excellent work CapCut.

2. It has a copyright check button before you export or post it, so you know exactly what you're getting into

3. The process of actually adding files to the movie is super simple, like click and drag and that's all simple. I'm totally a grandma when it comes to this stuff so the simplicity of this app was a life saver.

Now let's get into the negatives:

1. The biggest one for me was losing my media halfway through. My phone cord is touchy and when it decided to not work, all of my pictures, which I had already added to the completed movie, just went away. What's more annoying is that once my phone was reconnected, the media did not come back. Which is not the end of the world because all I had to do was manually import them all again, but annoying.

2. Another one was more of a learning curve than a negative, but in order to work on a piece of the movie, you have to slide a little line to that specific part. It doesn't matter if that part is what you're currently looking at on the screen, you need that little slider there to add anything, like text or special effects.

And that's it! Overall CapCut was an amazing movie maker app to use, super simple to figure out, and for a basic video? a perfect option.

Now, what we've all been waiting for, here's my How To Video on Stained Glass Pattern Making. I personally didn't have to do any research for this, because this is a part of my hobby that I have found to come to me naturally, but it was super fun to break it down for you guys.

I was excited for you to see the results of the stained glass. Unfortunately the video says it's private, so I wasn't able to watch it. I heard about Capcut and I am Aldo playing around with making videos. After reading your tips, I think I will definitely give it a go! Thanks for the read ✌🫶
