We fit together like puzzle pieces

Alright y'all it's getting real. We're starting to see some semblance of what this could become. After this, it's a quick foil (that takes me at least an hour) and solder (probably another hour) and then we're done! I'm trying to be positive, this has been a long semester.
Anyways, I've never seen any resources about how to correctly grind your pieces to fit together, so I'm excited to see what's out there, because this step is my number 1 reason for rage quitting.
I decided to go for Reddit this time, because I feel that this is more of a wisdom and experience kind of answer, and this way I can get multiple points of view without watching a million videos.
I found that most of the responses talk about patterns and accounting for the foil which obviously I have not done and cannot go back and change. But I will be taking these into account for next time. I did find some good answers for my situation though, so Here are some of my favs.
Okay so this one is more what I wish I could do, because it would make life so easy. Basically they're saying to have a copy of your whole pattern and just grind the pieces to fit into each space. Unfprtunately for me, I cut up my one and only pattern to trace the pieces. We live and we learn.
2. Okay this I can do! So I'm going to start in one corner, and work my way across, fixing the pieces touching the piece I just grinded. Ground? You know what I mean.
3. And finally, a much needed reminder that grinding doesn't have to be this hard if you put in the work in earlier stages. I feel like I took this to heart, because I find myself rushing through the "boring" stages of pattern making and cutting to get to the good parts. It's nice to know that putting in more time to tracing and cutting does yield rewards later.
I'm not gonna show the final look until after I foil it, so you'll have to wait a little bit :)
